trigema, Germany's largest manufacturer of sports and leisure clothing, has fully digitalized its logistics processes with NIMMSTA and Engomo. Previously working with classic MDE devices, trigema now relies on warehouse processes with NIMMSTA.
The solution is used for order picking, automated sorting via e-ink display, for retailer and platform orders as well as for stocktaking and internal stock transfers in 43 stores.
The result: smoother processes, fewer errors, up to 33% time savings in stocktaking - and a system that was immediately accepted by the employees.

trigema produces at three locations in Germany, operates 43 of its own stores and a highly frequented online trade. Up to 16,000 variants per season have to be moved quickly, accurately and efficiently. Previously, traditional MDE devices and paper were used - cumbersome to use, time-consuming and not ergonomic. Particularly for scan-intensive processes such as picking or stocktaking, it became clear that logistics needed an integrated solution that combines speed, precision and user-friendliness.
Together with partner engomo, trigema has introduced a solution that streamlines processes, eliminates media disruptions and makes logistics work significantly more efficient. The NIMMSTA solution serves as a central tool that increases efficiency and flexibility.
1. inventory in the warehouse and in the stores
In the central warehouse: article number is scanned and the counted quantity is entered directly via the display. In the stores: each individual variant is scanned in full - no counting errors, no estimated values.
→Result: 1 day less inventory time in the central warehouse, significantly higher accuracy in the stores.
2. online picking
In the online business, trigema picks around 600 orders a day, which are scan-intensive, varied and time-critical. The system bundles up to 40 orders into one tour at the same time. The employees pick these bundled, route-optimized and receive the article and quantity data, visual & haptic feedback in the event of incorrect scans and continuous instructions for the next step via the NIMMSTA Smart Watch.
→Result: smooth workflow without interruption, noticeable time savings and lower error rate.
3. sorting with e-ink displays
After picking, the items are automatically assigned to the orders - controlled by NIMMSTA and engomo. An illuminated e-ink display on the target box shows where the items need to be sorted. As soon as an order is complete, the box lights up green.
→Result: automated sorting, less rework, clear overview for packing staff.
4. retailer & platform jobs (such as Amazon, Otto, etc.)
A separate order type is created for each platform. Employees select this directly via the NIMMSTA Smart Watch and are guided through the respective process - including different barcode logics.
→Result: standardized workflow for different partners, easy handling despite high complexity.
